ARMED AND FAMOUS

Armed and famous : handcuffed by Latoya Jackson

The Police. They patrol our streets. They keep us safe. They put their lives on the line every single day. And five Hollywood celebrities are about to cross the thin blue line.

In the premiere episode of ARMED & FAMOUS, five famous celebrities leave the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to become actual working police officers in America’s Heartland: Muncie, Indiana. Through this first hour, they’ll train at the official Muncie Police Academy, take an oath, and hit the streets.

The show begins as a limo arrives at the steps of the Muncie Police department. Out pops recording artist and author La Toya Jackson; Jackass star Jason “Wee Man” Acuña; WWE champion wrestler and fitness model Trish Stratus; television personality Jack Osbourne; and international television star Erik Estrada.

They’re excited to become cops, but have no idea what to expect.

Tough talking Sgt. Rick Eber lays down the law to our new recruits. They’re going to learn to fight, use real weapons, and make real arrests. But first, they have to train.

In training, they practice vehicle stops and get tasered by a 50,000 volt stun gun. They learn hand-to-hand combat and how to shoot real guns with real ammo. Guess who hits a bull’s-eye? A giddy, trigger happy La Toya Jackson.

Saw the first episode but missed the second. It was funny for the training but I was shocked how serious they were when patrolling the streets. Fun show.
